Mobility operators

The Compagnie des Transports Strasbourgeois (CTS), a Société Publique Locale, is the mobility operator of the Strasbourg Eurometropole (EMS) urban network.
With an average of over 492,000 journeys per day, CTS is one of the largest public transport networks in France in terms of size, complexity and performance. Since 2017, it has also been France's 1st cross-border network.

CTS has two complementary missions.
- It operates urban public transport in the Strasbourg Eurometropolis.
- It designs, builds and finances the infrastructure: tracks and stations, ticketing systems, video surveillance, park-and-ride facilities.

A high value-added operator, it is recognized at European level for the quality of its services and its capacity for innovation.

CTS is a network of 3 depots, a sales agency and over 1,800 urban transport operators who, thanks to the diversity of their professions, work every day to provide a responsible, high-quality public service.

A CONSTANTLY EVOLVING “ALL-IN-ONE” MOBILE APPLICATION

Awarded a Calypso award in November 2014, the mobile application made in CTS has constantly evolved to meet customer needs and adapt to all technological developments. Initially conceived as a ticketing platform enabling H24 ticket purchases, it offers an “all-in-one” service from 2017. With timetables, traffic information, ticket recharging and purchases, CTS customers have access to a paperless, pocket-sized service in the spirit of MAAS. Constantly evolving, new functionalities were introduced in 2023 and will continue in 2024 with, for example, the dematerialization of the Badgéo “ transport card.

ART AT CTS

Since 2011, by choosing to decorate its streetcar and bus vehicles, the CTS has been helping to enliven the region's visual universe, while promoting its creative potential. In this way, it is committed to promoting access to and the dissemination of culture and art in the city.

CTS, MORE THAN A PUBLIC SERVICE MISSION

By becoming a "company with a mission" on July 17, 2023, CTS is asserting its position as a responsible and committed company with a single raison d'être: to create links and facilitate the mobility of its customers on a daily basis.

Five objectives are now enshrined in the company's articles of association:

- For our planet

- For our customers

- For our employees

- For our local economy

- For our development
