SNCF Voyageurs – Providing tickets for a region through a single information system; related issues and challenges

France’s Regions act as mobility authorities and increasingly, they are seeking to play a central role in the distribution of tickets for public transport. The Sud region will soon be making its own distribution and customer relations solutions available to all transport companies within its area, based on its integrated regional information and ticketing system. SNCF Voyageurs, SNCF Connect & Tech and Capgemini have pooled their expertise to set up Sud Mobilités Technologies, the company with the public-service contract for the development, operation and maintenance of this forthcoming one-stop regional mobility platform.
