One key challenge in French mobility policies is serving peri-urban and rural areas, all the more so in view of recent legislation such as the LOM Mobility Orientation Act and the SERM Metropolitan Regional Express Services Act. Mobility authorities’ financial constraints are leading them to come up with new mobility solutions for such areas.
