The visit will take place at a concrete plant alongside the EU-Parliament (Joseph Bech bridge).
The different steps of the project’s completion, the role and involvement of stakeholders will be outlined.
Key topics will include the project’s conditions for success, difficulties and points of vigilance, particularly regarding the replication of modal shift projects using inland waterways. More broadly, this example will introduce and illustrate policies in favour of river freight transport.
