Head to Austria to learn more about EuMo Expo 2024’s Guest of Honour: Austria’s capital city, Vienna, which is aiming to become carbon-neutral by 2040.
To achieve this, the city has committed to an ambitious policy promoting public transport and sustainable mobility. Initiatives include a travelcard costing just 1 euro a day, the extension of the public transport network and redevelopment of public space to make it more pedestrian-friendly and accessible for soft mobility.
