LAB Training and Research

Participating in EuMo Expo 2024 is an opportunity to discover the sustainable mobility sector and its future-oriented professions, and to meet the main employers of this sector. With nearly 230 exhibitors participating (Alstom, Keolis, RATP dev, Iveco…), about fifty conferences and many animations, EuMo Expo offers a rewarding experience for all education stakeholders. They will benefit from a concrete vision of the issues and opportunities in the sector, thus reinforcing their interest in this sector. It will be an opportunity, especially for young people, to reflect on their orientation, benefit from a journey discovering the sector and the trades in a fun way, meet professionals directly, find internships, etc.

The LAB – Hall 3 – offers a pedagogical and innovative space to present the wealth of trades in the sector, among others, to young people looking for orientation and future. You will be able to meet different actors of the training and higher education (UTP- Union des Transports Publics et Ferroviaires, Futur en Train, OPCO Mobilités, The Shifters, ENPC, ENTPE, ENSEM…), and discover their animations and research work.

· Fresco of trades: discover the trades that recruit and explore the mapping of available training in urban public transport and railways.

· Animation of the OPCO Mobilités: presentation of the professions of the 17 mobility branches (urban, rail, but also road, passenger and goods, automobile, maritime…). 

· The Shippers’ Mobility Mural: an interactive approach to understanding the challenges of decarbonization.

·  UTPF provides a comprehensive guide on maintenance jobs in the urban and railway sector, with 20 job cards, a mapping of technical sectors and valuable resources for your teaching teams, BDE staff and students.  This guide will be available in the LAB Research and Training area.

·  Discover the mobility professions with OPCO.

·  Booth visit: embark on a discovery of the driving simulators of rolling stock allowing your students to get acquainted with vehicles (bus, tram, metro…), bus maintenance and the latest technologies in public transport.
